Tip One: Count to ten, or twenty if you happen to be a good counter
This is to slow down your instinctive reaction to explode by deliberately slowing down your thoughts and emotions from getting out of hand. This delay allows you to calm down and rein in your wrath and chances are, you will not be as angry as you were before.
Tip two: Take in deep breaths, to the extent that your lungs are completed filled
Take a few seconds to deliberately breathe in deeply, then hold it and breathe out deliberately and slowly. A few of these deep and ponderous breaths will leave you calmer than before, although it does not remove it entirely
Tip three: Find someone to talk about it
Find a trusted friend or family member to talk about your problems. By talking about it, you can decide then to act differently for a better outcome. After complaining about problems, you will feel more relaxed and the anger dissipates.
Tip four: Relaxation time to just chill out
Take some time to unwind and distress yourself. Often, anger rises when we are stressed about something and spending some quality time with yourself or your loved ones who will not judge you surely reduces your anger tantrums and put your blood pressure back to the healthy limits.
